Position: Massage Therapy Instructor & Training Program Specialist

We are looking for one or more experienced massage therapists who enjoy teaching, shaping training content, and collaborating with an international team.

Location: Malta · Full-Time · On-Site, Home-Office and Hybrid Options

Role overview

A newly establishing venture in Malta is seeking a Massage Therapy Instructor & Training Program Specialist to support the development and delivery of advanced training solutions for professional massage therapists across Europe and beyond. The role combines hands-on expertise, curriculum design, medical-anatomical knowledge, and close collaboration with an international team.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver in-person and virtual massage therapy training, workshops, and upskilling sessions.
  • Develop structured curricula, training manuals, and multimedia learning materials for online courses.
  • Design bespoke training programs for corporate clients and manufacturers of massage-related products.
  • Apply sound anatomical and medical knowledge to ensure high training standards and practitioner safety.
  • Collaborate with a distributed development team building proprietary training software, acting as the operational liaison for product requirements.
  • Coordinate with back-office staff in multiple countries for scheduling, student management, content releases, and workflows.
  • Participate in on-site recordings for video-based courses and assist in quality assurance of training media.
  • Travel occasionally for client engagements, workshops, and product-specific training sessions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of the academys methodological framework and educational offering.

Required qualifications & experience

  • Professional experience as a massage therapist (minimum 2 years) with demonstrable practical competence.
  • Formal background in healthcare, physiotherapy, nursing, or similar medical-anatomical disciplines.
  • Experience conducting or assisting in training, mentoring, or delivering structured instruction.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, contraindications, and safe practice standards.
  • Excellent command of English (C1 or higher).
  • High digital literacy and confidence using modern tools, content-creation platforms, and web-based collaboration systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with software developers and distributed teams.
  • Comfort working with colleagues across time zones and cultures.
